Avalon 2001 Brake Noise..

I have a 01 avalon XLS , whenever I press on the brake I hear noise ,like wind gushing out. If I release the brake the noise goes away. The brake works fine. I am just wondering what is causing the gushing wind and if it could affect my brake.Even when the car is parked and I press the brake, I hear the noise.
