hey, im looking into buying a 85 grand prix. im only 14 and im might trade him my 86 camaro 2.8l v6 for it. but his 85 grand prx has a 350! with 152 000kms on it. it has a eldlebrock aircleaner and new valve covers and new alternator and rad hoses. but everything else seems stock. well wen me and my dad took her fo a spinaround the block. he floored it and it wouldent even burnout! it was running smooth but i though a 350 shoulda done a burn out. and it dident. so do u think theres a major problem and i shouldent make the trade????????? Well as far as a burnout, you gotta do it just right, i have a 305 in my caprice and i've gotten that to burnout a few times on a brakestand so a 350 should def be able to do it no problem, it all just depends how the engine is running and tuned as well

most cars will not burnout if u just floor it while ur driving, u either have to clutch drop or brake stand. that 350 probably is running around 250rwhp, you would be hard pressed to chirp through the gears
