Hey! I just bought a 94 Grand Cherokee myself and am in the process of lifting it. I know an VERY economical way of doing it yourself. It's been tried and tested...I know some people who have done it. Let me know if you're interested. Costs about $20 and about 6-10 hours of your time. :grinyes:

I have the 97 ZJ and just put a Tuff country 3.5" lift on it myself... It was my first time ever installing a lift, but it wasn't to bad. Just make sure you have 2 good jack stands and 2 floor jacks it makes it so much easier, I only had one floor jack so...
It cost me about $535.00 without the shocks.
There are also low budget kits with spring spacers, also you can usually use your stock front springs in the rear and buy new 3.5" springs for in the front and that works and saves some money. There are many options out there, just do your comparrisons. I've seen the same exact kit I bought go for well over $700.00 without shocks. I bought mine from...
www.jackit.com no shipping for me since I live close by though.

I wouldn't expect a question like this from a guy called "offroadjoe".
I don't know what your budget is but I like these guys : http://www.rubiconexpress.com/Products.aspx?Cn=189&Pn=2067&XnPath=173,181,189&Vid=DC60245240592.
Thats just one example, there are lots more out there. This kit still has a halfway decent ride, that's something to think about because you will probably spend most of the time on pavement.
