Completed Tamiya Lexus SC430 Mobil 1

This is Tamiya's SC430 Mobil 1 kit built straight from the box. Painted Tamiya TS-26 Pure White, no clear, and polished with various Tamiya compounds then decaled. Wheels are painted with Krylon Dull Aluminum and then rubbed with a soft cloth to give a little sheen. Exhaust were painted Titanium Silver and given a little blue heat stain and painted inside with exhaust metalizer.
The "chrome" Mobil 1 decals are a little weird... something about the printing method leaves them with a texture that cause them to have a line pattern. That would be my biggest complaint with this kit.
No real surprises. It's one of Tamiya's recent, less detailed and simplified, models. I didn't use the Tamiya PE set for this one. I still enjoyed building it and it makes a good addition to my display case.

Great work! Very clean too. I think this model is far batter looking then the Nissan JTCC cars.

Very nice build!! I really like the lines of this car and such a clean paint job, although the decals look far from easy, but you made a cracking job on them.Well done!!
