I have a 92 4wd van, won't turn over it makes one click, I changed the solionid, have good battery charge & good connections, is there anything to check before changing starter motor?

Use a DVOM you need at least 11 volts at the terminal where the cable bolts on to the starter. This is when trying to start the vehicle. Use jack stands so you will be ok if it starts. If you have this buy a rebuild starter.

Stewie ...Donnie Stewart? anyway I am Gary Stratton and if it was mine I would turn the engine over by hand to make sure it isn't seized...do this by turning a pipe wrench sideways on the bottom front pulley of your engine...sometimes you can just grab the belt and turn it..if you can turn it ..even a little ...then change the starter and you will be good.
