Hello all. I was installing my alarm system, and on the left side of the steering wheel was a wire harness for the head lights. I pulled it and attached it to my alarm. There was also another one on the top of the steering wheel and a smaller one on the right. When I reconnected them, my turn signals and wipers do not work. I checked the fuse and they are all o.k. I ejected the harness and put it back in but it still does not work. The washer spray works and the hazards work. Can someone help me out and tell me what is wrong?
Thanks

Maybe you blew a fuse? Although, I know that if you don't connect your hazard switch, your turn signals will not work, so I think they may be on the same circuit... But, check your fuses anyways.

Off the top of my head it looks like you damaged the switched power in the column somehow. The hazards are on a different circuit that doesn't require the ignition to be on to run.
Just a piece of advice in the future.....pick up the power under the dash where its easier to get to ...near the fuse box is good.
Time to hit the wire diagrams and get some education.

Hello all. Thanks for the info. I was able to get them to work. What happened is that I did not install the indicator harness correctly. I put it on the right side above the ignition where there is a little white socket. Nothing goes there though. It is supposed to go above the harness that I use to turn on my lights. oops. Thanks though. Also, when I am done installing my alarm I would like to make a diagram and a tutorial. If anyone wanna give some info that might be usefull, just holla.
Thanks
