Automatic Clutch operation

I have a need to operate a clutch without the uses of a left leg. This is due to an injury that will take several months to heal.

Does anyone know of a company that makes a device or that makes this possible?

I can make one that is operated by hand but that would require that both hands be off the steering wheel in order to shift. So something that can be operated by switch on the shifter would be ideal.

If you know of anything please let me know.

Many companies make hand controls for disabled drivers, not sure whether they are available for std trans cars, check you yellow pages or google automobile hand controls.

After seeing these prices.....http://members.aol.com/handcontrols/handicaps_inc_controls.htm
I can only imagine what an electric one would be.
You may want to borrow a friends automatic car till your healed up....

I have found one place Access Unlimited $7500 to operate the clutch for a driver with no use of the left leg. It was not cost effective for my needs. It would be cheaper to buy a beater with an auto for six months

BTW the yellow pages an Google were first before using this forum. I do thank you for the respones.
