2000 Grand AM quad 4 coolant problem

I have a 2000 pontiac grand am twin cam quad 4. This winter the low coolant light has been coming on then going off after 30 seconds or less. It happens when I accelerate when the car is just warming up.(the temp gage is below 150). Once it gets to regular operating temp I don't have the problem at all. I checked the coolant resevoir tank and the coolant looks clean( a nice pretty orange), however when the engine is cool, the coolant level is below the full cool line. I hadn't checked the coolant since may of last year, when the level was fine at that point, and the coolant level doesn't seem to be changing at all over the last couple of months. So here's the question: what could be causing the light to come on and off, and where could the coolant be going, I have no leaks under the car, and the oil is perfectly clean, no chocolate milk, that I have been reading about. The coolant has never been flushed, any advice from all you experts would be great!!!!

What could be causing it to be so low?, I checked it this morning and it looks like its getting lower, however there are no leaks under the car and the oil fill cap and dip stick don't show any of the signs of coolant getting in the oil. and another question seperate from this, should there be air blowing of of the oil fill hole, cause when I checked the cap for signs that coolant may be leaking there was air coming out... and yes the car was running.

IT has to be leaking or it wouldnt be low, antifreeze doesnt evaporate very well. Also these newr models tend to blow it out the overflow on the resiv. tank.

Air from the crankcase is normal, it vents through your oil/air seperator(which is a pcv on the V6).

I have a 2000 2.4 grand am had coolant problems that were similar . Missing coolant no dripping of coolant. Finally some dripping of coolant but couldn't find leak. Drove me crazy until the leak got real bad but couldn't find it. Found the problem by watching the cooling system hot with engines running. It was leaking at the gasket where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine block. The part that the hose connects to is plastic and can crack but stay closed until the presser builds then open and close as the presser releases spraying coolant on several places of engine.
