you should post this in the main car modeling thing...
and as much as I think it should look insanely cool, that model is also insanely big!
but i will watch the builds with great interest, and see your frustration when you build all those matching chairs! lol

You will wait for long. I am in the ugly conversion phase from builder to collector.

Neat kit, but I doubt I'd ever build one.

Thats pretty cool. I think I'd consider it, depending on price. Kinda like the 1/400 Queen Mary 2 kit that Ive got, something thats just way out of the ordinary.

big kits like those tend to lose interest after purchase, simply because of the daunting task it is to build one well.

oh, and it reminds me of an old movie called "The Big Big Bus", kind of an "airplane", or Leslie Nielson movie.

Put that motor in a Miata? How 'bout a Lotus 7
Interesting model, I hate to think how much effort it would be to build it nicely. That's a crapload of seats to trim, sand, paint, decal. Would be more fun to build it out like an executive coach.
But by the time it comes out this summer, the US dollar will probably be worth a nickel, so it'll probably be $200 US or more :shakehead

What scale is it? That would make an amazing rock band tour bus, and would go great next to a VW bus made as a tour van for a much less successful band :)

Hey I did not know that thing is available now. I do check the shops every weekend and did not see it yet on the shelves.
The kit is certainly big. But remember the endless number of variants you can derive out it. We also need something different to show beside passengers cars to emphasis them a little. I wish however Revell had released a historic bus instead of a Neoplan to complement their short living vintage truck line released years ago.

I would never buy it.. to big, not my thing, but I like the fact that revell tries something that (to my knowledge) has never been done before.

It's not available now, Revell AG website says August. I can't read German, but it's pretty obvious the model he's building is a test shot. No chrome, he had to make his own decals, etc.

The sweet rock bus sounds like a cool idea, but ive got way to many model projects on the "bench", and too much stuff on the bench of life
Maybe sometime in the world of the future, lol
(that guy did a pretty good job on that one, holy seats Batman)

I think that if I get one, I would try turning it into some kind of luxury motorcoach, similar to what you would find being used by Nascar drivers.

Regardless of scale, yes, it's begging to be started, put on a shelf until "I have more time," and forgotten. But... what scale is it?

That kit is quite a monster!!! Revell have been tooling up quite a few new kits of interesting subject matter like this. The one that is on my 'must buy' list is this:
