Help! Key problem 2001 Grand Prix

I recently bought a 2001 grand prix se for parts and it has no keys. I'm pretty sure this style has passkey, but can I go to a dealer with the title (vin number) and get a key made? Please help. thanks

You will probably need more than just the title to get it but they can cut it. You could probably save a little money if you called a locksmith instead. I would order a bland passIII key off ebay and then get it cut and programmed by a locksmith but that's me. Call the dealer and they will tell you exactly what you will have to have to get one and what it will cost. Be ready tho, it will probably cost more than you realize.

You have to go to a dealership with proof of ownership and an ID card and they can make the keys from your VIN#.

I don't think you can go to a locksmith if it has a anti-theft chip.
