well of course another snowstorm today (man this winter is draging on!)...coming home in town some lady pulls out in front of me and i slid off the road and caught the snowbank/curb....not sure how hard i hit it...not too fast but enoguh to give me a good jolt. Managed to smash out the foglight and break a bunch of plastic shrouds around the rad support. The bumper around the foglight is all cracked up. The light is minor but im wondering how hard you have to hit the wheel before you have to worry about allignment? still drove fine, no shimmy or wobble....I think it drove straight but with the snow its hard to tell.

Yea, these things are tanks. I hit a curb a few years ago in the snow, wheels completely and whet straight into it. Nothing broke or was misaligned.

I dont know I accidentally backed into a pole going 5-10 mph at most and bent a control arm. So I dont know how tank-like they are haha.

Look on eBay - 97-05 Regal Foglight...replaced both of mine for about $70. It's a TYC part, just like OEM. The brackets don't have studs like they do on the intrigue part, but that can be easily fixed as there are holes there...I just tapped them and used bolts/washers.

I've done the same thing, when I first got the car a few winters ago.

OEM tires were nearly bald, hit curb....bent the rim really good.

Had to get a new rim (and new tires) and seemed to be no adverse results.

Just changed my inner tie rod tonight, loose as a goose.

Happened to be the right front, where I had hit the curb.
