I'm new to the forum so I thought I'd show this Peugeot because another member's Peugeot 405 thread is what drew me here in the first place. This is pretty much built out of the box. I mixed the color because I didn't have any Camel yellow. The weathering is my first attempt at such techniques; I used six or seven different shades of brown and tan sprayed through my airbrush while running a fan in front of the model (like in a wind tunnel), and used some real dirt collected from the back yard and sifted to get the finest grit possible. Am I forgetting anything important? Feel free to ask questions or offer suggestions, recommendations, criticisms, et cetera.
I have two more of these, one Camel and one Pioneer, that I expect to do a much better job on when I get around to them.

Welcome to AF. Great first post. I'd love to build another one of these now - built one when they first came out, and it is fair to say my skills were not what they are now. You have produced a fine example of an excellent kit.
Cheers,
Grant.

Very nice looking model. The dirt effects look very realistic, subtle and not 'over the top' Really nice work on an old classic kit, well done!! Look forward to seeing more of your builds......????

Great build! I think the weathering looks very realistic! I'd love to get one of those sometime.

Thanks for the comments and the welcome, everybody. As I mentioned, this was my first attempt at weathering. I used spray adhesive in some places and sprinkled my sifted dirt all around, and it did a pretty good job of accumulating in the right places. Everything else is just different colors sprayed out of the airbrush, sometimes concentrating in specific places, and other times just spraying all over randomly. I made a mask to create the wiper sweep on the windshield.
Thanks again for the comments.
