1992 accord odb

i have a problem were my car after it runs for a while it starts to studder and some times shuts off when i come to a stop. the check engine turns on, i tried to figure out what it is. i did some research on how to figure out what it means but i cant seem to find the light by the ecu. if some one can give me some insight on were to look for the red light or might know what is wrong with my car please let me know it would be a big help. 1992 accord lx f22a 140k+

There is a blue connector behind your glove box. Two contacts need to be shorted with a paper clip or a piece of wire.
After this turn your key to "ON" (ENGINE NOT RUNNING) and count short and long blinks.

Haynes manual has the exact procedure.
