New Camcorder

I just bought a new mini dv camcorder so I can get some in car video ;) It has been a while since my old camcorder broke and I do love making race videos so this should satisfy my appetite. I based my decision on which camcorder to get on consumer reports rankings.

Anyways I didn't want to spend a ton on the relatively new HD and HDD camcorders and I am not a fan of the DVD so I went with the tried true and cheap mini dv camcorders.
I got the canon zr800 because it was the top ranked on consumer reports I'm pretty excited and hopefully I can get some real videos for you guys soon.

Anyone know how to mount it so it gets speedo and rpms without having to hold it and it not shoot in my face when i launch?

I got a while back the Powershot A560 and that too does videos. That camera takes the best pictures for the price.
