Driver side wiper

My driver side wiper goes up about a 1/4 of the way and then dies....he passenger side is fine any ideas??

Tighten the nut that holds the wiper down.

Try tightening the nut that holds the wiper on.

And if tightening the nut doesn't work, then the wiper motor could be going bad...

Only one motor works both sides. If the motor was going out then both would not work correctly.
