Oops, I got rice wipers

Anyways, I was prepping my car for saturdays meet, wash wax, the whole bit when I noticed some chipping on my wiper blades, so I decided to sand em and repaint em. Me not paying attention to the cap color of my spray can, I ended up with "midnight blue" wiper blades rather than black ones. Looks pretty damn good but doesnt match anything at all ... I guess ill redo em this weekend once sun has baked the paint on and I can resand :p

No offense to anyone who has painted wiper blades ... I think it looks good if it matches the general theme of your car, but in this instance it doesent match mine.

And I know the word rice has gotten me in a lot of trouble in the past, but I think since I am talking about my own car here I will be aight ;)

I know how it goes, my wipers are painted chameleon because I didn't look at 'em before I bought 'em. I'll get around to paintin' 'em flat black at some point.

it's not the word rice. let me try and put it this way. it's when you direct it a 1 person or 1 car specifically....when it is used to describe a type of person or a style of modification specifically that it's frowned on.

bad example: that car is a ricer
good example: i was hit up to race by Ricer-X


to be honest..you have come along way in the way you conduct yourself. but that is stuff that will be handled in an im.

When I bought my car it only had one blade! Cost me $70 at the dealer to get a new wiper arm :rolleyes: Woulda pickandpulled it dut it was in the middle of winter and I woulda had to drive on the freeway to get to one... So ass taxed I got :mad:

For emergencies like these i keep a can of flat black in the garage.

I was gonna get a new pair of wipers that were silver, but then i saw a riced out toyota corola with all the APC stickers on it, so i put them back, and got different ones.

Ill pick up some black on the way home today .. I think we still have some at my house, but it cant possibly be much.

well they are off the car and I am repainting them black ... but I wont be able to get pics of ANYTHING for quite a while now. Hopefully greg (88CiViC_DX) gets good coverage of this weekends event.
