Life has been KICKING MY ASS!!!
My daughter is now 14 months old. I spend more time at Children's Hospital in Denver than anything right now.
Lost my job because of a complication with a minor surgery of my own, but it worked out great since I got to stay home with Sara while she was in her body cast.
Sara is happy, doesn't know any different. Cast is off, so we are dealing with getting her muscles back to where they need to be.


On topic....
Trans Am is cleaner than ever. Just minus the rearend right now, and it has no shocks. It is getting Koni's soon. The rearend had a slight leak, so I pulled the whole thing down for a cleaning and painting. Getting close to going back into the car. Koni's are roughly 3-4 weeks out though...so not much hurry.
Hoping to actually find 550RWHP N/A this spring. Kinda depends on the $$ situation though.

Getting a new set of 315/35/17 Nitto DR's for the street soon, and a new set of drag tires. Going with Hooiser QTP 27x11.5x15's for the strip.
I have my fingers crossed, but I am hoping to get a 10 second pass with her in early fall.

Woah, that's kind of a lot to throw out there at one time. Well, glad Sara is doing good. I actually saw some update pics on another board. She's so cute. So young and she has already been through a lot. Makes you appreciate life more.

Sorry to hear you lost your job. Probably couldn't have happened at a worse time. Sometimes in life, when it rains, it pours. But it will turn around soon enough and you will be kicking life's ass.

But glad to see the car is still making everyone jealous. And new tires already? You must have torn through them good. Good luck on the rear and shocks. Its getting warmer...

Sorry to hear of all the troubles, and know how hard it is to deal little ones in the hospital. We went through close to 2 months of intensive care with our first have hoses to drain absess fluid from the brain, then another 6 moths just to learn how to function again.

11 years later all is well enough that he drives me up the wall like any normal child, when they said back then, if we should make through high school, he'd only develope to be the mentality of a 7 year old. Keep your chinup and follow your insticts, and remember doctors are human and somethimes make mistakes:thumbsup:

Im sure everything will work out fine.. as poor said..when it rains it poors. but soon enough its gotta get sunny again! Then your bird will be all put back together and ull be drivin around with the t-tops off!

She is having a surgery in a little over a week. Going to move the 'pipe' that drains her left kidney so her tumors no longer restrict it.
Savage, nothing happened to her. She was born with neurofibromatosis. In a fairly advanced form. Genetic disorder.

I don't know how you got true duals on that thing. I looked for ways to do it without dragging on everything, could not do it.

I never hit them either.
Granted, they are crushed bends, not mandrels.
