I'm feeling overwhelmed

I'm mechanically sound, but I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with wanting to upgrade my 351w engine.

I've never dealt with forced induction before, but I understand the premise. More air & fuel = more power.

I want 400+ hp out of the engine. I honestly want a supercharger because of the low end power and a turbo "I don't think" would be the right move for me. Should I consider a stroke kit?

My rig is an 89 Bronco XLT that my friend let me have for getting it running and off his parking lot at his office. It was abandoned there and after searching for an owner, we discovered the owner was shipped back to their home in Laos (here illegally). So, at this point, i've put about 1000 bucks into getting it running, registered and legal.

Can anyone give me an idea of where to start? What I've done so far is:

Leather Bucket power seats (from a buick)
Interior carpet kit w/ headliner
8" skyjacker lift Kit
37" tires with 16" wheels
New Dash Kit
Paint Job

I don't know what rear-end is on the car and upon searching the net, have found a variety of different possibilities, does anyone know how to find out for sure? Did Ford only have 1 option for this model?

I disconnected the front drive shaft and don't plan on using the 4 wheel drive anytime soon. I want something to look good on the street as well as get me to the camp ground. I don't want a mud bogger. I will be using this car to tow a large trailer long distances.

I haven't replaced the gears yet, either. What gear ratio would be good to run with my oversized wheels?

Finally, can anyone recommend a header and exhaust combo for the engine after the supercharger is installed?

Thanks in advance!
