hey guys, i've got a 99 metro LSi 1.3 with an auto trans. i got the codes pulled and (surprisingly) this one is the only one that came up:
P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire
to me this points torwards the cam or crank position sensor, or the ignition module (ignitor?)... but maybe there's another possibility? does anyone have a diagram that shows where i can find these items? what is the proper method for diagnosing them (ie voltage or ohm values to check for)? is there a common problem related to this code that i can check for?
BTW, i recently changed the sparkplugs but the problem has been there since before that.
thanks for any info that you can provide for me.
