CD player face plate

I have a 99 taurus with the regular heat/ac controls and I want to put a cd player in. I have seen the after market face plates that are used in conjunction with a cd player but someone told me that some brands dont work properly.

Does anyone know which one I should get and where can I order it.

Did you try searching the forum? I tried searching for "aftermarket radio" keywords and got a fair number of hits, including some that could definitely answer your questions.
