I have an s-10, 2.8L TBI that will runs great for days or weeks and then it will crank but won't start after it's turn off. I did a tune-up, rebuilt TBI, replaced fuel pump and filter. There is no spray, but fuel is going to the TBI. Also replaced the coil and cleaned every ground I could find. Can anyone please help.

What year?
On the older ones you have to have spark from ign and coil before it will triger the injectors.
Does it have good spark when no start?
Is the no start temp related like hot or cold or just after you shut it down hot?
What is the fuel pressure when no start?

had the exact same problem on my brothers 92 s-10 4.3L Z and yes they need to have ignition to run the TBI injectors
on his it ended up being the big pink wire from the distr to the coil it was broken inside the wire insulation to where you couldnt tell it and it would sometimes not start
finally figured it out one day messing with it while it was running
probably is a really common problme on these
i save this wire from junk ones now
dealer has it for 25 bucks though
includes the smaller white wire next to it too
and they are only a few inches long
good luck
