exhaust vibrations

i got a 2004 sierra ex cab 2500HD and sometimes not all the time i get a vibration when going from a stop when it come outa first it gos away any1 had this on there truck :banghead: (sounds like a heat shield) but don't know

Does it do it anytime in park. Like at a certain RPM. If it does it is probably a heat shield. You can always check the bolts on the headers and the rest of the exhaust system if all else fails.

It does sound like a heat shield somewhere. Get under it and start banging around with you fist on the exhaust system to make anything that vibrates show itself.
