Cooling System Flushing

I haven't flushed a cooling system with no radiator cap before. The Cav has a closed system, but is trying to run hot. Have replaced T-Stat, water pump and temp sensor. Now I guess flushing the system may be my best bet to get it running at normal temp again.
Step by step please.
Thanks!

well since you didn't list what motor you have.... here is what you can do..
Remove overflow tank cap. Make sure the coolant system has appropriate amount in it. Start you car with the cap off and leave it off. let motor run and then when the fans kick on, monitor what is happening with temp gauge in cluster, by leaving the cap off the reservoir any air that is in the system should escape. The fans should shut off when temp get back down below 195. Let car cool down and then re-install the cap on the reservoir. Go for a spin and everything should be fine.
if not..
Repeat above process again.
if still fails, get a new thermostat.
