Since not everyone here is on the planet yet (slackers!) I'll post the pics of my rodeo with its new tires and wheels here too.

Looks great. Haven't heard a bad thing about the BFGs, but I didn't want to pay for them for the Jeep. How's the ride and noise? How long before they get offroad?

Yeah I didnt want to pay for the name either, cost twice what the timberlines did. Was thinking of going with timberlines again after getting frustrated by not finding the size I wanted in the tires I wanted. Then found out they stopped making dayton tires :banghead: They closed the plant about a year ago. I finally gave up and just bought the damn things.
Ride seems a little stiffer but they have another ply in the side wall and I havent checked the tire pressure yet. Noise is a little louder then the daytons but not annoyingly so.
Might get a little ghetto wheeling soon if the weather cooperates long enough for the place to dry out. Other then that they will be getting offroad in May for ZuZoo XI weeee.

No more Daytons, huh? Hadn't heard that. Maybe I'll go that way next time, then, for the Jeep. That or the Bridgestone Duelers that I have on the Rodeo. I'm going to be needing a set for the Rodeo soon. Surprised to hear they are a little louder than the Timberlines. Many of the Jeep guys have louder MTs, maybe that is why they find the BFGs quiet!

Can probably still find lots of daytons left in stock. I saw lots online but then you have to pay for shipping. I've heard really good things about the dueler revos. I thought about them but I like the looks of the bfgs better. General Grabber AT II are also supposed to be really good but they dont make them in 32".
Noise probably depends on what you are used to. The daytons were surprisingly quite for an agressive a/t tire. The bfgs arent alot louder though just slightly. I did notice the rodeo goes straight on grooved highway now instead of following the grooves which had been an issue since I bought it. Dont know if its the tread or the width.

Very nice Giz.....looks awesome!
Noise??....try the Yokohama's at 70mph....actually not too bad, but they do hum. I've never had a problem with not liking the sound of a noisey tire, as long as it's not excessive however.
The Revo's were definite hummers big time, more so then you'd think.....but in a good way, I liked it personally.
They were louder, funny enough, then the Yok's I have which look much more aggressive, but doesn't grip nearly as well as the Revo's did.
I'm up on the fence as to what to put on the Rodeo, I definitely love the looks of the BFG's, but I've had horrible experiences with them on other trucks, and they are so expensive when a much cheaper tire, i.e. Firestone Destination A/T is getting much better reviews, even with off-road adventurists...no offense Giz, they look great on your rig.
I'm just leary of spending that kind of money (for the name) and being bumbed.....again. I was VERY disappointed in their traction, or lack of traction abilities on my diesel, didn't matter the surface or the psi, that truck was all over the road.
Fletch...for your Rodeo, highly check into the Firestone Destination A/T's....they are priced very decently and are getting fantastic reviews, up close they're not as aggressive looking as most other A/T's, but people are raving about their grippyness, mileage, handling, etc.

I priced the Destination ATs before getting the Daytons and they were just a little cheaper than the BFGs and Duelers, but a bit more than the Daytons. I have several thousand left in the Duelers, but I'll check them all out again. I'm seeing more and more SUVs and Jeeps with the Firestones.
