Hey guys I've been gone for a while on quite an adventure to Tennessee, then to the Marine Corps, then back to home. I've been back since October 2007 carless ever since thanks to another timing belt failure. Anyways I've been looking for cars on and off recently when my friend told me about a DSM for sale locally. I was weary at first, but I REALLY miss my DSMs... So anyways it's a 1990 TSi AWD with the panda paint job.
Specs:
Rebuilt 6 bolt with about 1,200 miles
Big 16g
3 inch exhaust (no cat, naturally)
Dejon Tool intake
GM MAF w/translator
Gigantic SBR FMIC
Diamante front brakes
Walbro FP
Aeromotive (i think) FPR
And oh yeah...DSMLink
Sale Price: $2,800
Plus the guy's throwing in a bunch of other goodies such as spare camo valve cover, some racing harnesses, misc shit like that. It does have a few small problems such as the coil pack needs replacing, needs a new(er) radiator w/fans, needs a tune, and the transmission is...meh. I haven't driven it yet because he said it's leaking around the transfer case and it grinds shifting to 3rd and 4th sometimes. But for that price and the scarcity of DSMs around here, I HAD to have it. So what do you guys think? Is that a steal or what? I'm going by the bank tomorrow to arrange everything. Also, it feels great to be almost back.

For sure. I'm super stoked. Just to be on the safe side it will be towed here, but the interior is really clean minus not having a radio. That sold me a lot because my Laser was a shit box. Anyways yeah I'll post again with an update.

Thanks man. I have the money in hand and I'm picking the car up on Monday. Well I'm having it towed at least. I'll give it a one-over and see what I can do just real quick and see about the coil pack. I'll definitely let you know if I can use yours. After I check the tranny I can start a good tune and get it running nicely. Anyways I appreciate all the help and support.
