Need help!! car cuts off when I cut on light. any ideals:banghead:

You need to check your charging system and battery. It sounds as though the charging system is marginal, and when you add the curent draw of the lights, it doesn't leave enough power to run the engine controls, causing it to stall.

What's an attenuator? Do you mean alternator? Are you saying that you replaced this part and it fixed it, or it didn't? Please use normal language and be more clear so other forum members can understand what you mean.
