Are there any 1/24 scale Chevy impalas? Every time I go to a hobby store there are only 1/25 scale. If anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Short answer, NO. American iron is 99% of the time in 1/25.

Incidentally, what year Impala? There have been Impalas for 50 odd years. It's like saying Volkswagen, Mustang or Porsche 911.

Hi!

1/24 impala's I not quite sure, but I saw in Revell germany catalog they used to have one in 1/24 scale! They also have the details that the car lenght is nearly 22cm. Shocking! Yes! But I never seen it released anywhere.

I am looking for either 61, 63 or 64 impala. I once saw on a website a 1/24 63 impala but I'm not sure if it was a typo.

None that I know of in plastic, but a lot of 1/24 impalas in diecast.

Problem is that it's really a 1965 Impala and it's really 1/25 scale since Hasegawa merely copied the bodies of 1/25 scale American car models of the time ('65 Impala, Buick Electra, Pontiac Bonneville, Cadillac Coupe DeVille, '66 Thunderbird). They're very old models, and while the body detail is good, the interiors and chassis are generic. Don't be mislead by the name "Hasegawa", because these kits are nothing like newer kits.

1/25 was the standard for American car models, hence the lack of 1/24 Impalas in styrene.

Thanks to everyone who helped. Although I am still looking, I found a 1/24 59 impala. It was a bargain! The reason I want 1/24 scale is because most of my cars are japanese and japanese are mailny 1/24 so I want any other car to be the same scale.
