Running a little rich.

OK as you guys know I just put my exhaust on. On the way home it was running fine. But now that it has been sittign for about a week its running rich and when i shift it dies sometimes. Any Ideas?

Is your blow off valve recirculated?

Are you 100% sure its running rich? How do you know with no WBo2?

No, his BOV isnt recirc'd. No one remembers that thread? Get yourself a recirculation kit and have fun not dieing between shifts. That stock narrow band isnt worth shit either, its an idea of what your real AFR is but its nothing to put stock in IMO.

And yes, I'd think resetting the ECU would help.

Unhook the battery completely. Leave it disconnected for like 30min and put it back in.

no not yet unforunetly. I dunno if i should since i have the DSM link on the way and hope fully a MAF translator. But reguardless it should be one there but that wouldnt make much of a diff would it? I mean it shifted fien before the system was put on.

It may have something to do with a better free flowing exhaust and that has an impact on the turbo which could cause things like this to happen.

Are you sure that your o2 sensor just isn't dying on you? That could be the case since the a/f gauge runs off it and it could be causing your car to stall between shifts because of the readings from that and the bov not being recirculated... It doesn't take much to stall a motor out with just the tuning of it...

Yeah I was thinking that. But I am not sure which 02 sensor my guage is going off. I didnt touch the one closest to the turbo. And we put the other one back in..... So I am nto sure man.

What? The O2 is right by the turbo. Your car won't be running bad if the rear is bad. Your A/F gauge is going off the first one..

I got a cel when mine was starting to go out. I would randomly get codes for no activity on the front o2 or something.

Yea but its really just reading voltage off the ecu. why don't you listen to us. You post a thread asking for help we tell you how to fix it and then you don't listen. You have done this before. Recirc the BOV you ricer.

It must be hard to beat vipers when your car stalls out inbetween shifts.
