If you think that you can “do” anything to attract a woman, then just end it now man!

You have a better chance of persuading trees to move out of your way, and steep mountains to bow down to you! Women are free spirits. They are not better or wiser than you, just controlled by different forces than you are. You're better off watching Fight Club, air-brushing graphics onto your car and enjoying a good beverage. If you think that you can become this mythological "jerk" that women seem attracted to, then please practice accomplishing lesser feats of grandure. The Force is a good start;)

This post has little to do with the topic at hand, but it might be funny to those reading it.

As DMC12 posted, making yourself into the "badboy" might seem like the way to go, but unfortionatly its not that easy. You need to take into consideration that women are not logical, rational human beings (Sorry girls :D ) The logical approach will not work here. FWIW, the only technique that I have seen that works is just being yourself, and being lucky. (unfortionatly some of us arent very lucky)

This came up in conversation recently when a friend and I were trying to see inside the mind of females...

Why do women always like to play mind games with us men?? Wouldn't they rather be having sex with us??

Like this one time, summer 2002, a girl ADDS ME to her msn list, then when I talked to her a week later, she said that she didn't want to talk to me and blocked me right away. Keep in mind this idiot ADDED ME to HER msn list, and I was nothing but polite to her in the two conversations we had before she blocked me. Typical moron woman who makes the entire sex look bad. Same goes for guys and their idiocy.

My point of this post is that we, as men, try to figure women out in a logical manner. This is simply not possible. And try as we might, to use our logic, some of us continue to fail and become more frustrated.

There is also specific types of girls that you should look out for, and try to avoid, but thats a whole other post. (maybe tomorrow)

Inspired by a comic in the local paper, I think i've figured out a good analogy:

Dating is like a game. A game girls made up and they don't tell us the rules. We figure some out here and there, but over all, we're all running around confused.

a little pessimistic and it falls apart at a lot of points, but i like the general idea. :)
