Catalytic Converter

What is the cheapest catalytic converter I can get for a 91 S10 4.3 2wd. They all want $180.00 for them but I know I can find a cheaper one. The truck didn't have one when I bought it, and I can't stand the smell. Wonder why the previous owner took it off. Where did you all buy yours from.

If the engine is running correctly, there shouldn't be any smell. There's probably something wrong, and that's what toasted the old converter. It would be best to have it checked out before you spend ANY money on a converter.
