Towing questions-'97 Blazer

We're considering buying a Trailmanor camper that weighs 2865 lbs (empty). This thing is really neat-has a lot of room inside, but folds down to the height of a pop-up so there isn't a lot of wind resistance.

I have a 1997 Blazer, 2WD with about 136,000 miles on it. I'm the original owner and have kept the maintenance up almost perfectly on schedule and the truck still runs great.
First question: am I insane to even consider towing with a vehicle of this age/mileage?
2. How do I determine what the axle ratio is on the Blazer?
3. After I get an aux transmission cooler and other tow equipment, anything else I oughta know?

Our only other towing option is my wife's 04 Toyota Sienna. It has a much lower rated towing capacity and is as long as a friggin' bus as is.

I tow a small trailer like that with a full load in my 92 Bravada over 7,000 foot passes in 90 to 100 degree weather and have had no problems. The Bravada is going on 220,000 miles this year and came with the factory towing package and oil cooler radiator.
