What is needed to lower a 2g GST properly

I have a 1998 Eclipse GS-T that i picked up last July and i finally paid it off so now comes the time to modify it. I want it lowered and I was wondering what all was needed to conduct a proper drop for the car. None of that cut spring nonsense, I want to do it right. At 17, obviously cost is important, but i have 2 jobs and i'm willing to save if it's worth the money. Anyways I'm just not sure what all i would need to do the job right, any help would be great. A nice set of lowering springs with stuts. Camber kit for front and rear. And you will need an alignment and camber alignment.

tokico HP kit is nice and cheap, all you need then is a camber kit... i think i'm going to go with HP shocks and Eibach (s/p) springs because i dont want mine TOO low... the HP kit will drop the car almost a full 2" i only want mine about 1.5" drop... (i know the HP kit says "1.5" drop" but i'm speaking from experience here) its really up to you! i may even opt for the illuminas (which is a 5-way adjustable shock) if you want to have the ablility to tune your suspension... just... some info... you will also need to cut your bump stops... many of us just cut about 3/4 of it off...

Go with coilovers so you can adjust the height yourself, and a nice set of aftermarket aftermarket shocks. Ground Control makes a nice affordable set of coilovers, and they're shock specific, so you'll need to know which shocks you're gonna get when you buy them.
