Matte Black Q&A?

I have been seeing more and more hype over flat/dull/matte colors. However I have been hearing all sorts of different information on it. Some people say go cheap, others say pay premium for a good job. I've heard that it rusts easier, flakes easier, certain mixes of paint are bad for the car, finger prints are everywhere, washing is difficult etc etc. I am just trying to find the truth!!! Can anyone out there help me find out...

1. How much should you pay for a matte color? Should it be more expensive than conventional paint?

2. Is washing a difficulty? Waxing?

3. Does it wear easier?

4. Finger printing? Is it that bad? Does it get extra dirty?

5. Laws are there any? (can never be sure nowdays)

6. What mix of paint? does it need special products to stay on car?
