Here is another I have finished for Tamiya Model Magazine. It will be in issue 151 available April/May.

The Honda RA107 I built is in issue 150 which should be available any time now...

There have been many nice Corvettes on here, just wanted to add mine to the selection! I have a Scale Motorsport kit somewhere and think it is a prime candidate for a Bad Boys Vettes version ya??!!

Cheers,

Jon

Awesome work! Are those the kit wheels? They look very nicely done. It's definitely a fun kit to build (I'm on number 3 and 4 right now). You've added a bunch of small/subtle improvements that Revell missed out on.

Very, very impressive! I like what you did with the interior. The body & paint also look excellent. I'm about 80% finished w/my SMS kit & am wishing I waited for those Bad Boy decals....

awesome build,

the only thing I highly suggest you change is the GTS logo to the GT1.

considering the C6R never raced under the GTS banner, 2004 I believe was the last year of the GTS

Nice work for sure! Those first couple pics look model box worthy! I like the nets and the rivets you added. Small details that make a world of difference.

Thanks all for your kind comments, muchly appreciated.

thadude: for some reason in that image it does look as though the front wheel has positive camber. Think it is a bit of a photographic freak though as the wheel doesnt on the model. The wheel attaches via a solid axle that cgoes between the two so changing the camber in any way from 0 degrees would be difficult! I do agree though, does look a bit odd in that image for some reason...

jmwallac: Yep, those are the kit wheels. As supplied, the chrome is thicker than the ice at the polar caps. I stripped them back using oven cleaner to take the chrome off, then soaked in brake fluid to remove the heavy lacquer than is under the chrome. Then painted to suit.

spike9933; I didnt know that about the class decals. Oh well, its been shot for the magazine now! I'll bear it in mind if I build another though, thanks for the info.

Thanks all again for your kind comments.

Cheers,

Jon
