i am restoring a 1972 camaro and changing it to a 4 speed car i am going to put a 1969 chevy truck motor in it . it has a flat bar bolted to side of block for clutch pivot ball, didnt most small blocks have a hole already drilled and tapped just above the oil filter and recessed in a little. because the pivot bar is to long. any tips would greatly be welcomed. thak you rick

 Where did you get the 4-speed parts? Are you sure you have the right "Z" bar? (hopefully not the trucks  )
