I think the problem is that when something like opening the doors of a model car is done well, you can't see the amount of work that is involved. It's like CGI; when it's done well, you don't notice it.

:rofl: Well I suppose the staff pick is like getting one of 6 or so best in shows. Tx for the comments everyone, but I doubt it would ever win people's choice, there were much more interesting models to look at. I might have some sort of chance in a true comp, in the sports car category, I dunno. And of course the comp was rigged! Don G's extended family voted en masse for the wrong car, even he was embarrassed :grinyes: Sorry, no more details on those kits, only what you can see here. I can't even tell you the modeler's name as those pics aren't cropped.

ddtham: here's the best I can do on those beauties. Maybe you can google for the builder (Vince Vigil?) :grinno:

Once again thank you for sharing:D. I honestly envy your modena, especially how plush the doors and trunk were hinged.

I really like the idea behind the Rat Rod in the middle of the top row
of this rack.

Looks like a straight 8 was used on the frame from the same kit the engine
came from.

Yeh, the rods are insane. I was looking at this Revell engine kit the other day - big thing, thought it would look hot (and yeh, ok, completely ridiculous) mounted on a small rod chassis!

really nice work on the tables. A lot of great paint jobs it must be the air in the west. I hope to make it out to the NNL West sometime. Hope to see some of this work at the NNL East. Really nice work on the Ferrari 360.

Thanks for the pics Mark, I always enjoy seeing pics from show, there are alot of ideas to be head there. I saw some of your Modena from another album posted elsewhere on the internet, and didn't even think that it was yours...looks totally awesome! Inspired me to take mine back out and work on it some.
