I know people are talking about making bodykits out of plastic. Would it be possible to make a whole car body out of straight plastic sheet? If anyone has some tips of how this might be done, please post them. Do't really have a pic of the car I want to do, its more of a dream thing I want to do, just to test some of my talent right now.

it is hard but i think it can be done... you probably won't be able to achieve the detail of course... post some pics of your creations:

cars to do:
VW Jetta/Bora
Audi S4 or RS4 :D

Possible, yes
Difficult, OH YEAH

The best way that i can think of to do this is make your self a frame of what you want the car to look like then bend and shape the plastic to fit. This would kind of be like planking the hull of a model or real boat.

The car I want to do isn't that complicated. Here's a pic I found from E-bay.

I've always wanted to try my hand at scratch building my own cars. I envisage that the hardest part would be making the clear window/light lense parts

Isn't the Twin Mill in the picture already 1/24 scale?? Why not just do a repaint and add detail to the allready existing car? I know of the 1/64 scale Twin Mill's as well as the real 1/1 scale car. Were you planning on building a different scale??
