2000 Rodeo LS Cassette in reverse

2000 Isuzu Rodeo LS
Stock AM/FM Cassette and 6 disk changer.

Replaced the changer about 2 years ago with Fujitsu 10, works great now.

The problem I'm having now is the Cassette Player. it will play forward, but not reverse and will no longer sense "end of song".

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated ( i.e. is it a band or gear system? Can it be fixed? Is there a kit available for it? Where / how much? )

You can purchase a used on on Ebay. That is probably your cheapest fix.

You could always just transfer the tunes from cassette to cd and eliminate the need for a cassette player.

I have an OEM cassette player sitting in the garage, but plan on reinstalling it before I sell my truck.
