There is a small clip on the inside of the actual wiper arm that has to be lifted up, and then the wiper arm assembly that is attached to the wiper motor shaft pulls outward, and off. You may get lucky if the arm has been taken off recently, it will slide off. I changed mine and had an awful time because of the dirt and corrosion holding the two on the inside. I drilled a small hole thru the top of the wiper bracket down to the shaft and sprayed PB Blaster penetrating oil inside the hole, hoping to free up the arm. It still was stuck, I ended up taking a small dremel tool cutting wheel, and carefully slicing the aluminum wiper arm bracket down to the shaft and sprayed again, finally was able to work it off the wiper motor shaft.Tape some cardboard on the window before dremeling to protect the paint and window from grinding chips. They really are one of the worst wiper repairs I have taken off. No easy way to do it.
After cleaning, put some anti-sieze compound, on the shaft before installing the new arm to prevent future corrosion. Watch out trying to pry on the door panel metal, it does dent easily.
