1997 Caravan transaxle removal

I am trying to remove the transaxle assembly from my 1997 Plymouth Voyager. I have Alldata and also have read the Wagner book. Everything is loose but when I try to lower the transmission it hits on the part that sits above the trame in the rear. I have tried everything but was just wondering if I have to rotate the transaxle assembly counterclockwise as I loser it so it clears the frame. The books and Alldate don't tell you everything, thats for sure. Everything is loose and I have it off the pins on the block, just can't lower it.

There is a back mount held in with 4 18mm headed bolts. There is an exhaust sheild in the way held in with 2 13mm headed bolts. It is a pain to get 3 of the bolts loose. Some dumb engineer at Chrysler thought of that starting with the 1996 models. One bolt, you have to get with a wrench and you can get a socket on the remaining 3.

Thats a good idea to install the mount leaving the bolts loose and then install the transaxle. That way it will be easier to pin. One other question On the overriding clutch springs and rollers. I do not have the special tool but was just going to use a bit of vaseline to hold them in place when installing. Don[t see what that would hurt?
