tie rod ???

i know a tie rod on the driver side is bad, but i don't know if its the upper or lower, how do i tell that?

I think you may have them confused for the upper and lower control arm.

Yeah, I think that your confused with ball joints. Balljoints are upper and lower. Tie rods are inner and outer.

no for some reason i said upper and lower instead of inner and outer, i was gonna edit it, but i realized it when my girl was driving me to her apartment, so it had to wait until now. so, how can i tell with the inner and outer tie rods :)
