Hours needed to replace LS/RS front axles

Anyone know how many hours are needed for a shop to replaced both front axles - 98 Trooper? How much will they usually charge? Any advice will be appreciated! Is this a good car to keep for long time? Is this car full of trouble? Thanks in advance.
