Killed 2 Mustangs in 1 Night.

I was heading down 360 heading towards King William to go hang out at the river with my girlfriend and a few other friends. I catch a red night, and I see a yellow Mustang convertable pull out onto 360, and head the direction I'm heading. I finally catch up to the Mustang about 6 miles down 360 at a stop light. I get behind him, and its only a 6-banger. BOOO! (99+ so it had the 'SplitPort' 3.8).

I switch lanes and gun it past him, then slow down and pace him with a 1 carlength lead going at about 50. I hear his puny 3.8 wheeze in some air, so I nail the 5.0 in my car, and the shitty AOD slips, then drops a gear. By now hes pulled a fender on me. but as soon as the AOD stops fucking around, thas all he gets by me. By 60 we're dead even. AT 70 I'm walking him pretty good. I stick my hand out the window, waving yelling "BYE BYE" By about 90 I have almost a buslength on him. :shakehead

I slow down, and check my rear view, and see my buddy coming up on me at a fast clip...

Now let me give you some information here. It's a 94-95 GT Auto. Full exhaust system, BBK Fenderwell CAI. And he had my girlfriend riding with him, because I had one of my best buddies riding with me. Now, my girlfriend is obsessed with Mustangs. (owned a 01 V6 w/ some bolt-ons), yet she still has a hard time believing that my car is just an overweight Mustang.. so I knew I had to win this one, just so I could rub it in her face.. :grinyes:

Anywho, by the time I punch it and get up to his speed, we're doing about 60 and hes right at my quarter panel. My 5.0 roars through an X-Pipe, and his an O/R H-Pipe. I imagine what it sounded like going down the road. :naughty: Normally when I think I might lose I manually shift my transmission (@5700ish), just for that little bit of extra oomph, but he caught me off gaurd so I still had it in OD (which shifts at like 4500 @ WOT), So I was expecting him to walk me. It drops a gear, and were almost dead even by about 90. By 100 I'm starting to ever so slightly inch away from him. My car hits its 120 top speed limit, and I have almost 1.5 carlengths on him. Of course he does the ricer fly by... Pretty good when you can beat a car that has the same exact drive train, but weighs almost 500lbs less.

Nice little set of races there. I bet your buddy felt like a turd losing to you with your g/f in his car.

Walked up to her, peed on her leg and said "That's mine" and dragged her away to the cave by her hair.

Always remember though, if your going to drag a newly captured female back to your place, do it by the hair, not the leg...or else they'll fill up with sand. ;)

nice bulldog. Sand could prove a problem. The trick is hitting them upside the head hard enough to cause submission, but not hard enough they cant still cook clean and enjoy( or pretend to) "doing the dishes"
