oil pressure gage

my oil pressure gage goes all the way up. oil level is fine. no codes and it runs fine. what could be the problem.

Most likely it's the oil pressure sender. On some years (93 & older?) it's possible for the sender to short out, blow the fuel pump fuse & cause the engine to stall. It's also possible for the sender to start leaking a stream of oil. I'd change it ASAP.
