You can get a free copy of the 1993/94 FSM from my web page...
Click my user name, follow that to my webpage, my FSM's are listed there.
Also, I have a page showing what to do with the downloaded file; >> here (http://www24.brinkster.com/sdhartney/linc/ISOdownload.html) <<

Hello again onetimehunter...
You sent a few emails and I accidentally flushed them, sorry. :nono:
The guys at lincolnsonline have some great responses to this same issue in a thread >> here (http://www.lincolnsonline.com/forum/showthread.php?t=46329) <<
Read through that thread, all the way down and you'll have a real good idea what you're up against.
What I've gathered; this sensor is behind the engine, on the transaxle, under the exhaust manifold. It's a bitch to reach, and even more difficult to R&R.
Loosening the motor mounts, and lifting (jacking) the engine is a must.
In my previous post I've added an instruction link for that FSM download.
Here's a few drawings from that FSM that should give you some ideas as well.
I tried to add a touch of red where that VSS is mounted.
