2003 alero wont start

I am amazed at the number of of people with the same problem that i am experiencing...my alero will not start. i insert the key and the radio reads calibrate. The radio works and door locks work. Other than that...NOTHING WORKS. No lights guages or anything work. I have done all of the tricks(10 min thing 15 min thing) checked battery and cables with no results. Oh the theftlock light blinks until i turn the key then goes off. I have read other posts on the same matter but cant find anyone who has actually fixed my exact problem. Any help would be greatly apreciated. thank you

i have same problem..2003 alero 4 cyl. sometimes will start perfectly and then suddenly the car will crank but will not start...sometimes a security light comes on while driving but didn't pay attention to it..i have to reset the key for about 30 min. then will turn off key and the car will turn on right away...any tips on what this can be will be appreciated....thx
