01 gp gt stutter while reving

when ever i have my engine in idle and i rev it at around 4k rpm the engine starts stuttering really bad, no problems with it while in drive though and as soon as i take it back under 4k rpm car goes back to normal... is this some sort of computer restriction the car comes with or is there something wrong with my car?

the cars have a rev limiter that comes in at 4k.so no worries just the coputer doing its job.
