Interior Lights on 2001 2500HD LT

Need some help in regard to the interior lights on my 2001 truck (2500HD, LT, 8.1/Ally). Lights come on when the unlock button on the remote is pressed but will not come on when the doors are opened. I can turn them on with the dimmer switch and hear what appears to be a relay clicking on the driver's side bottom.

Have you tried hitting the dome override button? I know it sounds silly but I have done it before where I forgot I hit it and then couldn't figure out why they wouldnt come on.

Yup :icon16: , that was it, a coworker mentioned it yesterday and I looked it up in the manual, boy do I feel silly :screwy: . Kids must have hit the button.
