97 cavalier cd wires

ok when i got my cavalier the wires were chopped and I had to use a wire coming from the fuse box to give me a wire with power all the time.. now i need to find a way to get a wire that is only on when i turned the key ahead
my question is... anything i can hook a wire to in the fuse box or anything else so i can get my cd player to turn off when i shut the car off?... any help be great thanks guyz/gurlz

take apart your dash and find the wire harness coming in with all the wires for the speakers etc. The Power wire will be in with them.

what color will it be?... red?

I don't remember off the top of my head actually. All my Gm service manuals with the wiring schematics are back in my dorm at college, and i'm home on spring break.
