S13 - Shark (or Hake) is what is served at the majority of Fish and Chip shops or you buy frozen in the freezer. Most people have eaten it. Craziest thing I ever ate - our national icon, the Kangaroo. Quite nice, if a little dry.

I have had ostrich, springbuck, kudu, bushpig & cape buffalo
It all tastes great if it is prepared right too :)

Ok, one question..... Why would you try all those things?
I'm a long time traveller and a bit of an adventurer - unless I have a moral or ethical problem eg eating tuna, an endangered species, cat or a dog then when in Rome etc... or alternatively downright dangerous or stupid eg Japanese blowfish. You can't really experience somewhere until you have an appreciation of the local custom and food (although I haven't walked on hot coals nor gone for body piercing).
Part of wisdom is understanding other folk and to do that you need to know why and where they are coming from...
Where did you go to even come in contact w/ those weird dishes?
Travelling in Australia, New Zealand, across the Pacific, South East Asia, North Asia, North America and Europe. A lot of it was backpacking on my own so you tend to meet more folk and try more things...
